I have been having severe chests pains and have gone to the er twice, cardio work up was fine. I have noticed a lump between my breast on my sternum, could that be the cause of my chest pains

Hi Linda - In general, breast cancer isn't painful, so your trips to the ER are most likely not related to breast cancer. But any lump in your chest area — even if it seems that it's in your chest, rather than your breast — should be examined and assessed. So please ask your doctor to take a look at the lump, and see if it needs further diagnosis. Good luck - PJH
