Hi - Any breast lumps should be examined, no matter how small, or no matter what they feel like. Luckily, the smoking probably doesn't increase your risk of breast cancer, though it certainly increases your risk for other kinds of cancer; and if you DO have breast cancer and need a mastectomy you probably won't be able to have reconstruction, due to you having compromised your vascular system with the smoking. Smoking = not good!

But anyway, let's not jump there yet. You need to make an appointment with the doctor to find out what this lump is. Please do it ASAP - no need to delay and stress over something that can probably be determined with a few simple tests. Good luck - PJH
