I already completed AC, YAY! But on Wednesday I see the Oncologist and she said we will discuss starting the Taxotere next. She told me it would either be 9weeks every 3weeks or 12weeks every 3weeks. What is the difference between that would I be giving a higher dose if its just 9weeks? I plan on asking her but thought I'd ask here too. Thanks!

Hey, Ms. Tiffany - congrats on being done with the AC - YAY is right! As for the taxotere, your doc will definitely know the answer. I'd surmise that the shorter treatment MIGHT be what they call "dose dense," more chemicals delivered more quickly; but this is definitely something your doctor should answer, as she knows the particulars of your case. Good luck with it - PJH
