I have woken up this morning and noticed a large red mark on my armpit, which hurts. It is lumpy, but not solid and it's about 2-3cm in diameter. Can you advise please?

This doesn't sound at all like a breast cancer symptom, Sam. It COULD be a sign of inflammatory breast cancer, a rare form, but it sounds much more like an infection. Keep your eye on it; if it spreads, or gets worse (more painful, more swollen), then best to see a doctor ASAP for some treatment. Good luck - PJH
