Topics:Types Of Breast Cancer

Dull ache on left breast, mainly on the side, from under the armpit to the nipple. No discharge, just a very painful dull ache. Haven't had a period for nearly 6weeks, due to stress of wedding in 3weeks and moving house, finding schools for children and working (I'm an air stewardess, longhaul) Don't know if its the under wired bras I'm wearing.

Hi Chris — Pain is almost never a symptom of breast cancer. Without having had a period, perhaps the pain is connected to that? Maybe hormonal? Stress-related? A muscle thing? Sounds like you've been VERY busy... I wouldn't stress, but why not go see the doctor to find out what's going on—maybe (s)he can figure it out and help you feel better. Good luck - PJH
