hello! pls i need help. am an african female. i have pains on my left nipple, it itches and its hard
my left breast aches, its nipple itches and its hard. The area around my left nipple especially under, is slightly discoloured in patches and its nipple is a slightly bigger than the right nipple. i have been haing this pain now for a while, off and on but now it more often. I was prescribed anti-fungal creams but it didnt help.
does someone have an idea whats happening to me, pls and how do i cure it.

Hi Jo - You should get this looked at again, since it seems to be worsening and creams haven't helped. It could be an early sign of one of two rare types of breast cancer: inflammatory breast cancer, or Paget's disease. Although they're both rare, as I said, they need to be ruled out. So please mention this possibility to your doctor, and ask to be tested. Good luck - PJH
