Hi - I'd suggest you wait awhile to see what happens, before calling your doctor, if necessary. Often these vague feelings of itchiness and heaviness and pain (and uneasiness) are hormonal, and resolve over the course of your cycle. If you still feel the same in 3 or 4 weeks (or certainly if the symptoms worsen), then see your doctor. You may have an infection or, very unlikely but possible, the first signs of a rare type of breast cancer, inflammatory breast cancer.

Please don't stree over this; it's almost certainly nothing to worry about. But, as with any breast change, you need to keep your eye on it and report it if it doesn't disappear on its own. Good luck - PJH
