Q: White small lumps around the niple.

Hello, I'm 14 and i've come to notice that I have small white lumps around the lower and on the left niple, and one on the niple it's self has started to peel away or flake.

I just would like to know if I should be worried about anything.. if so, what I should do.

Thankyou.

Hi Ellen - These are probably just the natural oil glands around your nipple starting to change and grow with puberty. Or perhaps, since it's summer, you've been swimming a lot, and your nipple skin has gotten a bit dry and flaky. I wouldn't worry about it, unless it really seems to get a lot worse. Please read our teen guide to breast development for more information, OK? Have a great weekend - PJH
