replacement for provera

Is there something natural to take in place of provera?  I did take it for 10 days and did not like the side effects from taking it. I have been having a few missed periods and went to the Doctor and she said i had a cyst in my uteras and my lining is about the thickness of someone 4 months pregnant. So she wants me to be sure and have a period every month but 1 month i took provera. Then the 2nd month since i took it i had a regular period now i'm 10 days late and am suppose to take the provera again.  I just feel ache all the time just waiting to start my menses and then i'm fine. Any suggestions.
