I used peroxide and took a hot shower when the cyst showed up. I assumed it was an in grown hair (although I keep them clean shaven) About a week later it started itching like crazy and hasn't stopped. It itches really bad, like it's deep down. I had my yearly pelvic and breast exam in early November and the Dr didn't detect any problems. This popped up about 1 1/2 months ago. I have a family history of breast cancer, so this has me slightly concerned.

Q: I had a small cyst under my right underarm that was painful. It went away, ever since my right upper beast and underarm itch like crazy. Shold I have this looked at? Just had my yearly 3 months ago.

This doesn't really sound like a breast cancer symptom, but it does qualify as a breast change; and any breast change lasting longer than a month should be seen and assessed by a doctor. Please read our post on itchy breasts; it may give you some guidance as to what might be causing this. And call your doctor, OK? Good luck - PJH
