Q: i have a pea sized hard lump on my areola of my left breast.

its gotten bigger over the past 2 years now its the size of a pea. but its not painful at all. what could it be?

Brina, any time you have a lump anywhere in your breast that's growing, you need to see a doctor; it's just good preventive practice to follow. There's no telling what this is without a doctor looking at it, and perhaps some diagnostic work. So please call and make an appointment. Good luck - PJH
