Q: Breast Lift

I had a masterectomy, (chemo & radiation included) survived that. Then a year later I had a reconstruction (trans flab style). How soon should I have my other breast lifted to match (semi) the reconstruction one?

Hi Mercedes - The surgeon will want to wait till any swelling is completely gone from the reconstructed breast before lifting the other one, in order to make the best match. So it depends how quickly you heal. If your surgery was awhile ago and you're completely healed, you could have the lift at any time. Good luck - PJH
