Q: I Am On Femara For DCIS Breast Cancer. Is It Safe To Take A Supplement From Source Naturals,INC.?.

This Natural Supplement Is Called DIM ( Dindolylmethane). 100mg. It Is An Indole Phytochemical That Is A Natural Metabolite Of Compounds Found In Cruciferous Vegetables Such As Broccoli, Brussels Sprouts And Cabbage. It Also Has Vitamin E ( As D-alpha tocopheryl) 50 IU. Phosphatidyl Choline 25 MG. And Black Pepper Fruit Extract ( Bioperine) 3 MG. It Also Contains Soy.

Hi - I'm sorry, we can't advise you on drug interactions/safety here. This is a question you'd need to ask your doctor. It's always a good idea, when you're taking breast cancer drugs, to ask your doctor about adding any over-the-counter remedies, as some of them can interfere with your prescribed drugs.
