I'm sorry to hear that your mom is having to deal with cancer again. Her previous cancer shouldn't make this one any more or less dangerous. The doctors will evaluate the new cancer on its own. If you know the name of the new kind of cancer, or if you have a specific question, we can give your more information.
If you're asking if this is metastized, the answer would be no. This would be like a secondary tumor, especially since it is a different kind of cancer.
Hang in there. I'm sure that since she has fought cancer before and won, then she will prevail this time as well.
