There is no follow-up treatment like Herceptin or the hormonal treatments for triple negative breast cancer patients, including IBC patients. Since I was diagnosed with IBC before Herceptin was approved for Stage IIIB patients, I was in the same situation you are. I had 8 treatments of two different kinds of chemo, mastectomy, and radiation treatments. I haven't had any follow-up treatment, and fortunately, I haven't needed any. It's been 11 years, and I'm doing OK. So the short answer to your question is you take the prescribed treatment and then hope for the best.
