Min, the feelings of discomfort and tenderness that have been there a long time are probably just what is normal for you. The breast lump is a different situation. It's new and constitutes a change, so you need to watch it and may need to see a doctor to get it correctly diagnosed. Breasts can change over the course of the month, so this lump may go away or get distinctly smaller as your menstrual cycle progresses. However, if the lump lasts a month, you need to have a doctor check it out. The vast majority of breast lumps are not cancer, so don't panic about this. It's good that you are paying attention to your breast health. I hope that your lump soon goes away on its own. Reply
