I believe the current thinking is that phytoestrogens in their natural form are OK. It's when you break things down - e.g., removing genistein from soy, and selling it as a menopause symptom reliever - that you see the danger of promotion of growth of estrogen-receptive cancers. But, as always, for further clarification - ask your doctor's opinion. Good luck - PJH

Your comment made me wonder if all the spices (organic) I use might be closer to supplements than food in their effects.

My docs aren't really comfortable with anything beyond the standard nutritional advice, and I can understand that, but all cancer related nutrition advice I've found seems to focus on surviving chemo, and I chose a bilateral mastectomy with Tamoxifen followed by Aromasin and skipped the chemo. Thanks again!
