Cysts are not usually dangerous. You don't need to worry. If they are really bothering you, the doctor can drain them. In the future, if you feel lumps that feel like these cysts, you will still want to check with the doctor. Most of the time, lumps that are tender are not cancer, but every now and then they are, so you'll need a sonogram to be sure that what you are feeling are indeed cysts.
Bobbie, I NEVER recommend worrying! Concern, yes; stress, no. If the sonagram indicates a cyst, I'm wondering why they're doing a biopsy - just to double check? 80% to 85% of biopsies are negative, so you have the stats on your side. And usually breast lumps that turn out to be cancer are painless. That said - you won't know for absolute sure till you have your biopsy. So relax, think positively, and good luck. PJH
