Hi Deb,   I have taken both Neulasta and Neupogen at various points throughout treatment. Neulasta consists of one shot, the day after treatment. Neupogen, is adminstered via ten injections per treatment cycle (you give them to yourself, which is not nearly as bad as it sounds).   These drugs do help you feel less fatigued, as PJ suggests. They will also boost your white blood count. If your white count is too low, treatment can be delayed. You can also become susceptible to infection (I ended up in the hospital for a few days before I started on the Neupogen).   Keep Tylenol on hand, as both drugs can make you a bit achy. Otherwise, I have experienced no side effects.   Take good care- Laurie
