Hi - Statistically speaking, if the cancer hasn't spread outside the breast, the 5-year survival rate is about 98.5%. If it's spread to underarm lymph nodes, the 5-year survival rate is about 84%. If it's spread farther, the survival rate depends where and how much it's spread. Hope this helps - PJH
Truth is they have no actual data on women beyond five years. If no lymphnodes were positive chances are it won't come back. Prognasis goes by the pathology report and if your cancer is estrogen positive, progrestrone positve, or you have the gene, grade look at your pathology report and have your surgeon or oncogolist explain it to you ask ask ask no questions are dumb this is your life. I know this cause I am a five year survior of this.

What is the survival rate beyond the 5 years? How about 10 years?
Thank you,
