Q: breast cancer? 16?

im 16 and my cycle just was leaving and my nipple always shrivles & and i sqeezed the side and a little blood came, not the nipple but the exterior of my areola. is it the fluid that fills your breast during your cycle? i dont feel sick either

Sounds like your nipple might be a little irritated. Have you been doing a lot of swimming, or anything else that might have made it dry? Please read our letter to teenagers for information that should de-stress you. And our teen guide to breast development will be helpful, too. Good luck - and stop squeezing your nipple! PJH

ok what if the nipple looks funny too. it can be like crooked or like. i didnt squeeze it. i meant the outside where the bumps are. and i didnt swim at all

If you've read the posts I suggested, and you're still very worried, then ask your school nurse - I know, embarrassing! – but action is the only way to de-stress yourself. Sounds like you need to find out what's up with your nipple, and get some reassurance from a medical person that it's not cancer. So make a plan - no sense procrastinating. Worry doesn't do anything except make you feel bad... Good luck - PJH
