Tonya, please don't be afraid to go to the doctor; it doesn't do you any good to worry about what MIGHT be happening in your breast. Why not find out for sure? Breast lumps, so long as they're permanent and don't come and go in synch with your period, should always be checked. Breast cancer isn't usually painful, but lumps should definitely be checked. So set aside your fears, and call the doctor for an appointment, OK? Don't put it off; you'll just make youself more stressed. Good luck - PJH
