Q: lymphadema glove

I have lymphadema and if I get the smallest cut even though I clean it right away I get cellulitis and then have to go on IV antibiotics. I wear my compression sleeve but need some type of glove to protect my hand from cuts not swelling. I live in a very hot area in the summer so am looking for something that won't be extremely hot expecially when I play tennis.

Thanks for your help.

Sandy, these lightweight/tough gardening gloves are awesome! Smile PJH

Sandy, does your sleeve come with a separate piece for your hand and/or lower part of your fingers?  For gardening or cleaning, real gloves are better for protecting your fingers, but depending on the pattern of your lymphedema, you probably need something on your hand.  My therapist told me that wearing my sleeve without the glove that came with it could trap the fluid in my hand.
