For the past 6 months or so I have developed this dry itch feeling inthe base of my throat, it feels like something is down at the base of my throat and it's hard to swollow sometimes, it also feels like my air (windpipe) is being blocked off and I'm having to force myself to cough so I can get air. This happens anytime during the day or night. I know it's not allergies or post sinus drip (I can feel that and it's not the same) What could this possilbly be or causing it?

Hi Robin - This is a breast cancer site, so unfortunately we can't advise you on general health problems. I can tell you this isn't a typical breast cancer symptom; and I'd suggest you see a doctor, since it doesn't sound like it's going away...
