I had both drugs administered and my arms have not been the same since. I did experience some burning during the treatments. Could the medication have caused some muscle and nerve damage?

Mary, we all react differently to chemo. And those drugs are VERY powerful. I don't theink the burn/paining during injection would automatically translate to damage, because I think most of us feel that, and then don't have any problems once we're done. But why not ask your doctor about this as a possible side effect? Also, did they use both arms? And both arms are having problems? If it was only one arm, but both arms are having problems, then maybe it's just a systemic thing that will fade with time. But I'd ask your doctor. good luck - PJH
