Hi - Bone/joint pain is probably the most common side effect of Arimidex. Unfortunately,many, many women experience it. As for the ribcage pain, that may be due to the Arimidex (it's a less common side effect, but still noted), or to something else - if you had radiation, it could be a temporary after-effect from that. Next time you check in with your doctor, I'd mention these pains - see if (s)he has any advice re: ibuprofen, etc. Hope you start to feel better as time goes by - PJH
