Hi - Depends on the location. If you mean truly not within your breast, but lower down, by your lower ribs - then it wouldn't be breast cancer, at least. If within your breast, then I wouldn't say to worry, but do get it checked out; it's always good to take lumps seriously. An exception would be if it comes and goes in synch with your period, in which case you can assume it's hormonal. Even if it's in your breast, don't stress; the vast majority of breast lumps aren't cancer. Good luck - PJH
