Pearl, yes, there's been some evidence that Arimidex can raise cholesterol levels. I'm not sure whether it's HDL specifically. Nevertheless, for most women, the risk of breast cancer is considered more serious than the risks associated with high choesterol, so even if it affects your cholesterol, your doctor will probably recommend that you stick with it. Probably a good idea to ask this question at your next appointment. Good luck - PJH
