Lumps found in my rt breast

Topics:Breast Lump

I found two lumps in my right breast and the doctor sent me to have a sonogram. They could feel the lumps but couldn't find them on the sonogram. They did find a lump in my armpit. Is this something to worry about? Thank you.

Not necessarily. But you do need to find out what these lumps are. Anytime you feel a lump but can't see it on a sonagram, that points to it being a cyst. However, you can't just let breast or armpit lumps go undiagnosed. Please ask the doctor for more testing on the armpit lump; and ask exactly what the breast lumps are. "We can feel them but can't see them" is an unacceptable answer. You need to be told they're cysts, or you need to have a mammogram, so don't let this drop. Good luck - PJH
