Q: would a wired undergarment(bra) be a cause of cancer? i feel a pain on the side of my breasts, where the wires of the bra is.

i breastfed my two kids of 5 and 2 yrs. old. as a result, my breasts look "scattered." thats when i decided to use underwired bras.

No, underwire bras absolutely don't cause breast cancer. Please read our post, causes of breast cancer, for more information on this. Perhaps your bra is simply too tight, and the wires are cutting into you uncomfortably. Your breasts are a tender part of your anatomy; and you need to treat them firmly, yet gently. J.C. Penney stores have excellent bra fitters; you might want to check out their services. Take care - PJH
