Q: I have 2 painful lumps in my left breast, one on top and the other is on the side of the breast.

I have 2 painful lumps in my left breast, one on top and the other is on the side of the breast. what is the cause of this?

There's no telling what these lumps are without an examination. In general, two painful lumps are more likely to be harmless (though painful) cysts, rather than cancer or some other problem. But you can't know till you see a doctor and have some tests done. So please call for an appointment ASAP; no sense waiting around and being in pain, right? Good luck - PJH
