Q: I had a double mascetomy in 6/2004. Had 4 treatments of chemo. It was infiltrating ductal Grade I.

I had infiltrating ductal carcinoma. Grade 1 Diagnosed in 2004.  Had 4 treatments of Chemo.

Took Tamoxifin for 2 years. Now taking Aromasin.  What is recommended lenght of time to take Aromasin?

Hi - Aromatase inhibitors, of which Aromasin is one, are still relatively new drugs, without a lot of long-term history. At present, the recommended course is usually between 5-7 years, but ask your oncologist if that's what s/he thinks is right for you. Hope this helps - PJH
