Hi Joy, Post treatment have you followed up with some type of hormonal therapy - you did not state your hormone status or if you take Tamoxifen or one of the AI drugs.  The reason I ask is because Tamioxifen, Femara, Arimidex, etc. are all known to cause bone/joint pain which could be the culprit behind your pain.  Also from what I have been told regarding my own simular pain, is that it is nerve or nuerological pain caused by the chemo.  I've been off my hormonal therapy since my recurrence in Feb. and I still have the same pain in my tailbone, lower back, hips, knees and shins - thus being the reason why my pain management doctor attributes it to post chemo nerve pain, though Femara did seem to make the pain worse, which is likely given that hormone therapy causes bone density loss.  My thoughts would be to talk to your oncologist about the pain - especially if you do take hormone therapy as you would need yearly Dexa scans or even a bone scan.  Since I completed chemo in 2005 I've consitantly shown a small amount of bone density lost on my Dexa scans, and when my cancer returned a bone scan showed possible degenerative bone disease.  So definitely inquire about the pain and get it checked out.  It's probably nothing but it could very well be one of the nasty side effects from chemo or hormone therapy.
