Q: A couple days ago I felt this Pea size hard lump near the nipple area it doesn't hurt and it doesn't move. What could this be? I'm 29 and there is no history of breast cancer in my family.

A breast lump such as you describe could be any number of things; at your age it's unlikely to be breast cancer, but you still need to keep the possibility in mind. Wait a couple of weeks or so; if the lump doesn't disappear, say, within a month (or definitely if it seems to be getting larger/painful), then call your doctor, describe your symptoms, and see what s/he says. You may need some diagnostic testing to figure out what it is and get it taken care of. Good luck - PJH
