Q: I have a tight feeling in my chest on the left hand side and some numbness down my left arm to my hand and under my armpit. This has come and gone. Is this something to be concerned with?

This doesn't sound like a typical breast cancer symptom, but does sound like it could signal a cardiac issue, since it's on the left side and affects your arm as well as your chest. I'd suggest you call your doctor ASAP to describe these symptoms, and see if s/he'd like you to come in for an exam. Hope this turns out to be nothing serious- PJH
