Q: I'm 39 had a hysterectomy a year ago and have been having breast tenderness for over 3 weeks now

If it's in both breasts, Liz, this is probably a hormonal issue. Breast cancer doesn't usually present symptoms in both breasts at once. Have you reported this pain to your doctor? (S)he should be able to advise you on what to do... Good luck - PJH
