Q: I was declared cancer free after treatment but can nasopharyngal carcinoma be passed on genetically

after going through a combination treatment chemo and radio i have been declared cancer free by my doctor but i face a problem, I am engaged to marry my fiance who stood by me through the treatment . The main concern now before getting married is if the cancer can be passed on genetically to kids?

Hi - This is a breast cancer site, so it's probably not the best place to get this question answered. I'd suggest you call the oncologist/nurse who treated you, and ask them; I'm sure they could help you out. Good luck with your new married life! - PJH
