hi i am 41, just had a lump removed need advice and help on undertsanding pathology report, it says that a lump 25mm was removed, that it was neg for hormones activity and that it was a invasive carcinom grade 3 (3,3,3) and vascular invasion was present - what does that mean, has it spread???

Hi Wendy - Sorry about your news, but you've come to the right place. This is a very supportive community. Please read our Guide to Understanding your Pathology Report; it'll really help you out. You won't know if the cancer has spread till they take a sample of your lymph nodes, which it sounds like they haven't done yet, so hang in there... and stay in touch here. We can help.
