Are benigh breasts calcifications in any way related to oil cysts. Does one cause the other?
Was in a motor vehicle accident, sustained a seat belt injury. Insurance company now is hesistant to pay medical bills for diagnosis of oil cysts due to the fact that I had preexisting benign calcifications in both breasts. Oil cysts however are only located in left upper quad of my left breast. Does the insurance company have a leg to stand on?
I don't believe either calcifications or cysts are caused by a car accident. Many women have both, without having been in an accident. Also, I don't believe calcifications and cysts have a causal relationship. I'm certainly no expert, but in my opinion, the insurance company isn't right in denying you coverage for treatment of the cysts. Good luck - PJH
