Nilima, this sounds like a preliminary report from an ultrasound. Hopefully a doctor has contacted you and explained what the next steps are. In plain terms, the report states the ultrasound has identified a lesion (an area of differing tissue density) in your right breast, and another in your left breast, both fairly small; and that one of the lymph nodes under your arm is enlarged for some reason.

Now, chances are this is NOT cancer, but rather fibrocystic change, a benign condition that's often the cause of  unidentified lumps in the breast. Still, the only way to find out for sure is to pursue the testing until a final diagnosis is made. So call your doctor and ask about these results, OK? Good luck- PJH
