Barbie, since this is happening in both breasts (correct?), it would be highly unusual for it to be a sign of breast cancer. Please read our post on nipple discharge, for information on what might be causing this; and our post on nipple issues. Bottom line, this is probably either hormonal, or some kind of allergy or infection. Without you seeing a doctor, however, there's no way to tell for sure what's causing these symptoms. I'd suggest you call and make an appointment ASAP; action trumps worry any day, and the only way you'll move forward towards a diagnosis and possible treatment is to see a doctor. Good luck - PJH

Dear Friend, I don't know what your symptoms mean, but I hope you see an OB/Gyn doctor or nurse. Sometimes, similar symptoms are seen in women with a certain kind of breast cancer. There isn't a tumor or lump in this kind of cancer, and sometimes is no rash. It's possible that you have a normal bacteria that is completely harmless. It would appear to be a white discharge and would have an odor. Won't it bring you some peace of mind to have seen a medical professional about this concern?
