I just found out my aunt on my mother's side has breast cancer. My grandmother my moms mom died from breast cancer. So this makes me even more at risk correct?

Yes, this increases your risk somewhat, though not nearly as much as it would for two first-degree relatives (mother, sister, or daughter). It also depends at what age your grandmother and aunt were diagnosed - before age 50 raises your risk more than after age 50. Hope this helps - PJH
In that case, I'd say your risk is increased minimally. But good that you're being proactive about this - a yearly mammogram, even if you're under age 40, might just be advisable. Or at least, make sure you know what your breast normally feels like, and report any changes to your doctor. Good luck - PJH

Thank you for answering this for me, My grandmother was 70 when she died of breast cancer and my aunt is 65.
I have had various issues with my left breast and have had mammos and regular breast check ups. I am scheduling a mammo next month just to keep myself informed. Thanks again.
