This could be some errant scar tissue; but if the lump is still there in a month, it would be best to have it checked with a doctor. Only a doctor can determine what this lump is - and do the tests to rule out cancer. Good luck - PJH

A fibroadenoma is a benign lump.  Of course, it is scary to find out that you need more tests to make sure that the lump is harmless, but the chances are that the tests will determine that everything is OK.  Sometimes doctors recommend removing a fibroadenoma, and sometimes they say it is better to leave one alone.  It all depends on its size and location in the breast.  Let us know what you find out tomorrow.  It sounds like your doctor is being very proactive in checking this out, so I believe you can be confident in your doctor's judgment.
