Sorry - I think, since only your surgeon knows the particulars of your operation, only (s)he can answer this question. Nerve damage is a tricky thing, and it will depend entirely on the path of the surgeon's scalpel. I hope the surgeon is able to preserve your nipple and the feeling in it; if (s)he possibly can, there are certainly other ways to construct a nipple, using other parts of your body. Good luck - PJH
