Itching left breast/nipple for 2 weeks now. Could this be cancer?

About 2 weeks ago my left nipple/breast starting itching. Sometimes there is a few bumps around the top of the areoa but i think that comes and goes. No redness unless I am itching it. I have not changed det. etc. Kind of weird it is my left breast/nipple only. No lumps that i couold feel of. When It did first start it looked dry so I did apply loation with no releif, so then i appliled vasaline which did not help either. I am 26 years old. Please Help Could this be cancer related?

Hi - This is probably due to hormones; please read our post on nipple issues. It's possible it's a sign of a very rare form of breast cancer, inflammatory breast cancer, and for that reason you should probably see a doctor, to have it ruled out – especially if the itchiness changes to pain, swelling, and/or redness. But chances are this is NOT cancer, and will hopefully abate on its own. Good luck - PJH
