Just Diagnosed with Cancer? Chat with Experts

Tuesday, February 24, 2009 duts asks

Q: The numbers that are given for the CA15 and the CEA markers mean nothing to me without a "chart" .

My mother's markers have risen a lot in the past 2 months.  The CA15 went from 948 in Jan., to 1331 now.  The CEA is now at 304.  Where does she stand?

Hi - I tried to find a chart or scale for you via Google, but no luck. Does anyone out there have any info. to share? If not, best to ask your mom's doctor, OK? Good luck - PJH
