SEEN AN ONCOLOGIST X3 AND STILL NO ANSWER WHAT DRUG LIKE TAMOXIFEN CAN I TAKE WITH HISTORY OF .....

HI, I'VE HAD PAINFUL ENDOMETRIOSIS ALL MY ADULT LIFE AND STILL HAVE IT. MULTIPLE SURGERY'S

I WANT TO TAKE SOMETHING FOR MY BREAST CANCER WITHOUT STIMULATING MY ENDOMETRIOSIS

ANYBODY HAVE INFORMATION THANKS SO MUCH

Linda, you might ask your doctor about Arimidex, which is one of the class of drugs called aromatase inhibitors that are given to prevent breast cancer recurrence in postmenopausal women. There is some evidence that Arimidex can lessen the pain of endometriosis; check out this article from The Well-Timed Period:

And, since tamoxifen has been shown to increase the effects of endometriosis, you'd want to avoid it, if possible. Good luck - hope you find a solution. - PJH
