My father is concerned about taking chemo therapy but they suggested taking cytoxan , is that a good idea when he has a brain tummer.

Sorry, Frances, this is a breast cancer site, and we don't have the background to answer questions about other types of cancer. That said, I'd suggest that your father follow his oncologist's suggestion, as to chemo. And if he feels uncertain, he (or you) should ask to be referred to another doctor for a second opinion.
