Sorry, Sue, I couldn't tell you what it is - only a doctor can do that. Please make sure she sees a doctor ASAP; a bleeding breast lump can be a sign of an abscess or other infection that should be treated without delay. Good luck - PJH

thank u for your answer my mum has to go hospital on friday 28th august her breast also looks bruised where the lump is thanks
