Q: I am past menopause, but my right breast feels engorged several times a day, like I am nursing.

Hi - I'd say keep your eye on this issue. If your breast actually does seem larger, or infected—swollen, red, itchy, hot, painful—best to see a doctor. If it just goes on feeling funny, you might want to ask your doctor about it anyway, esp. if you're not due for a mammogram for awhile. If it doesn't develop into something worse than what it currently is, it doesn't sound like a breast cancer symptom. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't pursue finding out what it is; perhaps you can get some relief with treatment. Good luck - PJH
